Where to Eat in Niagara Falls, Canada

Trying to find a restaurant in Niagara Falls can be overwhelming. There is a seemingly endless array of options and it’s especially hard to find a good restaurant if you’re visiting in the summer- when most restaurants tend to be very busy.

You will be bombarded with overpriced and monotonous chain restaurants in the area closest to The Falls, but there are better options.

I’m local to the Niagara Region and I’ve dined at many Niagara Falls restaurants over the years. There are great options in the touristy area and outside of it and I’ve put together a list of some of the best restaurants in Niagara Falls categorized by price range.

I touched upon a few good restaurants in my previous post A Slightly Biased Guide to Niagara Falls, but this list is much more extensive.

Majority of these restaurants offer vegetarian options, but the ones with the most veggie choices are Curry Queen, Paris Crepes Cafe, Wind, Moksha Indian Bistro, and Milestones.

Inexpensive

Zappi’s Pizzeria- $7 – $17

Opened in 1971, this family owned restaurant has a homey feel- complete with red and white checkered table cloths. Affordable and tasty pizza, calzones, pasta, and subs.

The Flying Saucer – $7 – $21

This restaurant is a Niagara Falls staple which has been around for 40 years. It’s pretty hard to miss as the exterior looks like a giant UFO and the interior has a similar galactic/space themed decor. It’s most popular for its cheap and hearty breakfasts and also serves decent diner style food for lunch and dinner. It’s open until 3am on weekdays and until 4am on weekends, so it’s a great choice if you’re feeling peckish at ungodly hours of the night.
